喜欢旅游，喜爱旅行的我

曾经想过要去当导游。

就用这几年参加的旅行团，稍微观察导游与领队，就来做个NLP换位思考，从中看看能否得到些些灵感和经验吧。。

若被派到一个地方，国家。。

导游要先熟天使，地理，人和。

要会观察当地气象，熟悉当地景点环境餐厅，熟巧当地语言，适应能力要强，控制情绪，淡定处事，和谐平稳，快速消化掉发火，生气的脾气，常常展颜笑容对客户，常给对方互相尊敬的眼神，常以客户的事，就是自己的事，把每一件棘手的问题解决，让客户开心和满意。

可以与必须有特定的忍受孤独感，接见到的顾客大都是情侣或一家庭成员的，看见顾客合群的那么的嘻哈欢乐，自己寂静孤身一人，特别需要面对这强烈的相对反应，而取得一个平衡；和客户呼哈聊成一片，嘻哈的称兄道弟，回到旅店小房，独自一人，要能会化掉这些对比与落差。。

从我的观察，领队导游们都对每一位客户相当的尽责和感恩，服务态度是真的上等上，真诚感谢客户给于自己一个机会服务众客户们，钱是要赚，但要赚得合情合理，于德，真诚服人，这让我想起在E+H时老板常说：serve before earn! 赚钱之前，要付出真诚的服务！

领队导游任务真的不简单，不是参与吃吃喝喝玩玩乐乐逛逛，要尽职尽责的确保客户有一个美好的时光，若能迎接到再次的回头客，那就代表你的旅行配套和你的服务是一流的👍！

As someone who loves traveling, I've once considered becoming a tour guide.

Based on my observations of tour guides and leaders during the tours I've participated in over the years, I'll try to use NLP empathy to put myself in their shoes and see if I can gain some inspiration or experience.

If assigned to a place, a country...

A tour guide must first be familiar with the local climate, geography, and people.

They need to be able to observe the local weather, know the local attractions, environment, and restaurants, be fluent in the local language, have strong adaptability, control their emotions, remain calm and composed, maintain harmony and stability, quickly resolve anger and frustration, always greet clients with a smile, consistently show mutual respect, and treat the client's problems as their own, resolving every difficult issue to ensure the client's happiness and satisfaction.

It requires a certain tolerance for solitude. Most of the customers are couples or families. Seeing them so outgoing and joyful while you're alone and quiet requires a strong ability to balance this contrast. You have to be able to chat and laugh with your clients, becoming close friends, and then return to your hotel room alone, needing to be able to melt away the contrast and disparity.

From my observation, the tour leaders and guides are extremely responsible and grateful to each client. Their service attitude is truly top-notch. They sincerely thank clients for giving them the opportunity to serve them. Earning money is important, but it must be done ethically and sincerely. This reminds me of what my ex boss at E+H often said: "Serve before earning!" Before making money, provide genuine service!

The task of a tour leader or guide is truly not simple. It's not just about eating, drinking, makan angin and having fun. It's about ensuring clients have a wonderful time. If you can attract repeat customers, it means your travel packages and service are first-class! 👍

曾几何时，自己也曾想过到美国，在自由女神前留影，现在，就于在韩国首尔街头的这副翻版自由女神前留影，盼总会有一天，我会站在美国正版的自由女神前留影，为梦想努力前进，梦想不要被冷冻，排除万难，去创造可能！

I once saw a replica of the Eiffel Tower at Window of the World.

Years later, I took a photo in front of the real Eiffel Tower in Paris. France. 

Sometimes I dreamed of going to America and taking a photo in front of the Statue of Liberty. Now, I'm taking a photo in front of this replica of the Statue of Liberty in Seoul, South Korea. 

I hope that one day I will stand in front of the real Statue of Liberty in America. 

Strive for your dreams, don't let them freeze, overcome all obstacles, and create possibilities!

Bryan Liu, 南韩游的韩国导游

Bryan 刘，是这次我们南韩游记的韩国，会讲华语的导游，他为人平易近人，可爱可亲，是首尔江南人，他的广阔认知，深深的值得我学习。。

他说一个国家的进步繁荣，不等于人民的生活品质，韩国可能很进步，但学生的教育费是很昂贵的，父母亲为了孩子们的教育费和生活费，都让不少父母亲为之而烦恼，更别说有多余钱出国旅游，透透气。。不像大马，国家处于发展中，但国民可出国旅游，看世界，在生活中加了些优质的质量。。

他的哥哥姐姐都是高才生，哥哥在美国当医生，但他哥哥常吐槽说：我常看的是病人，死人，时常让心情很低落；Bryan却说常见到的是出国旅游的开心人，快乐人，每天都展颜欢笑的和顾客开心的互动，让人多么的快乐，是导游这行业给他的热忱，据续了20多年还不言苦与累！

交换了WhatsApp, 我多了一个可谈的外国人，互相学习，互相扶持，多多勉励，人生路，顺利与好走许多。。😄

Bryan Liu, our South Korean tour guide for this trip, speaks Mandarin. He's approachable, kind, and friendly. A native of Gangnam, Seoul, his broad knowledge is something I deeply admire and want to learn from.

He said that a country's progress and prosperity don't necessarily equate to a high quality of life for its people. South Korea may be very advanced, but education costs are exorbitant. Many parents struggle with their children's education and living expenses, let alone have extra money for overseas travel. Unlike Malaysia, where the country is developing, but its citizens can travel abroad and see the world, adding a higher quality to their lives.

His older siblings are both high achievers. His brother is a doctor in the US, but he often complains, "I often see patients and even dead people, which often makes me feel down." Bryan, however, says he often sees happy, joyful people traveling abroad. He interacts with customers with a cheerful smile every day, bringing them immense joy. It's this passion for tour guiding that has sustained him for over 20 years without complaint!

 We exchanged WhatsApp contacts, and now I have another foreigner to talk to. We learn from each other, support each other, and encourage one another. Life's journey will be much smoother and easier this way. 😄

my science teacher mr Ng HT

我中学教科学课的黄老师

黄老师是一位上课时很认真，很有责任感，常用最简单，最容易懂的方式，把复杂的科学知识，再注入有趣的元素，让我们每位同学都了解，而且把这些知识若烙印般的存在于我们的脑海中。

其中一个黄老师仿佛若燃烧着的蜡烛，燃烧自己，照亮别人的，那就是他要展示random movement, 他点燃了一根香烟，吸了一大口，再将烟吹入特制的显微镜的装置中，就轮流让我们每位同学上前来观察，看看random movement 到底是怎样的，老师的牺牲，真是敬佩 🙏🙏🙏。。

但，中学时期某一个中午，上黄老师的科学课，骨子里有些傲气的我和同学开玩笑，嘻嘻哈哈的，被黄老师看在眼里，他于明喻来训导我，说道：

‘’。。脑子要时常像空或半杯水的杯子，这样才能好好的，可再装入水，那才能很好的吸收知识，要时时刻刻保持谦卑的心，虚心的学习；而不是有了小小成就，就扮成个有高傲脑子的人，仿佛若装着满满水的杯子，水装都装不进去，会溢漏出来，就是高傲性格的将再也无法有效的吸收外来的知识，日复一日，年过一年，终将荒废学业，到头来，一事无成，蹉跎岁月。。‘’

哇！真的被老师一语惊醒梦中人，仿佛若把一桶冷冷的冰水往我头上淋，就以上这场景，使我常常想起，让我永远铭记于心头，时常要虚心学，谦卑的学，别扮高傲。。

这画面场景，永远在❤中，永远永远！

My science teacher Mr Ng HT

My secondary school science teacher, Mr. Ng, was a very dedicated and responsible teacher. He used the simplest and most understandable methods to explain complex scientific knowledge, infusing it with interesting elements so that every student could grasp it and imprint this knowledge in our minds.

One of Mr. Ng's act was like a burning candle, sacrificing himself to illuminate others. When demonstrating random movement, he would light up a cigarette, take a deep drag, and blow the smoke into a specially designed microscope. He would then take turns having each student come up to observe what random movement looked like. His sacrifice was truly admirable 🙏🙏🙏.

However, one noon during Mr. Ng's science class in school, I, with my inherently arrogant nature, joked and laughed with my classmates. Mr. Ng noticed this and, with a subtle reprimand, said to me:

".. The mind should often be like an empty or half-full glass, so that it can be properly filled with water, in other words, to absorb knowledge. One must always maintain a humble heart and learn with an open mind; rather than becoming arrogant after achieving a little success. Like a glass full of water that overflows, an arrogant personality will prevent the effective absorption of external knowledge. Day after day, year after year, one will waste their studies, ultimately achieving nothing and squandering their youth.

Wow! The teacher's words truly awakened me from a dream, as it's like a bucket of cold water had been poured over my head. This scene will often remind me, and I will forever remember it. Always learn humbly and without arrogance.

This scene will forever remain in my ❤️, forever and ever!

那天午饭时间到佛光山东禅寺帮忙

分配物资，师姐安排我向一位

年轻菩萨义工人，学习如何把物资做安排：饼干，面包，杯面，食水，饮料，衣物，毛巾，让我真正感受到做义工付出的一份认真，起初我以为只要把所有物资放进环保袋就可以了，但义工们把一份一份的物资，很认真，很用心的顺着序，顺重到轻的排进环保袋，排到整整齐齐，我真的可以感受到，当灾民拿到环保袋，打开看到那么的整齐，让他们感觉到被尊重，被重视，有我们佛光人义工们与灾民同在，一起共同度过难关，虽天灾无情，但我们人间有爱，一方有难，八方支援，给人们信心，给人们希望，给人们欢喜，给人们方便。。

This is not about religion, it's about the method relief from suffering..

Buddhist teachings on dealing with the death of a loved one focus on understanding impermanence (Anicca) and letting go of attachment to alleviate suffering. 

Core Principles...

Impermanence (Anicca): 

A foundational truth in Buddhism is that all things, including life, relationships, and emotions, are in a constant state of flux and nothing lasts forever. Death is an inevitable part of the cycle of birth, aging, and death that all beings experience.

Suffering (Dukkha) and Attachment: 

Grief and prolonged sorrow (suffering) stem not just from the loss itself, which is a natural painful feeling, but from our attachment to the person and the wish for reality to be otherwise. The emotional pain is a natural response, but clinging to the desire for the person to still be alive creates lasting suffering.

Non-Self (Anatta): 

The teaching of non-self highlights that there is no permanent, unchanging soul or spirit. The consciousness is reborn into a new form based on karma, but it is not the exact same "self" that the loved ones miss. Speculating on the afterlife or a visiting spirit is generally not considered helpful for the deceased or the living, as the focus should be on practice and present actions. 

Practices for Letting Go

The Buddha did not seek to eliminate the pain of loss, but to provide a path to peace through understanding and acceptance. The story of Kisa Gotami illustrates this well, where the Buddha asked her to find a mustard seed from a household where no one had died; her inability to do so showed her the universality of mortality. 

Acknowledge and Accept Grief:

It is acceptable to grieve. The pain of separation is a natural part of the human experience. The key is to allow the sadness to be present without resisting it or letting it consume you for an extended period.

Contemplate Mortality: Reflecting on the reality of death and separation is a fundamental practice (similar to memento mori) that can help one appreciate the present moment and cherish loved ones while they are alive.

Focus on Skillful Action:

Engaging in good and wholesome actions and cultivating a clear and calm state of mind are considered beneficial for both the living and the deceased person's next life.

Dedicate Merit: Family and friends can perform good deeds, offer prayers, and dedicate the merit of these actions to the welfare of the departed.

Meditation: Meditation on the breath and the transient nature of thoughts and feelings can help the mind become calm and let go of agitation and anxiety related to the loss. 

Ultimately, the Buddhist teaching of letting go is about acknowledging the truth of impermanence and using that wisdom to cultivate compassion, find inner peace, and live a meaningful life in the present, rather than being mired in conflict with the reality of loss.

玩得适可而止，别上瘾

以前沉迷于电子游戏，当上瘾时，

放学就骑脚车，就往电子游戏店去。很多时候，都需劳动外公拿着滕鞭来到电子游戏店，鞭着我，来赶我回家，曾一次遇到警察叔叔，他坐在游戏机前，把手铐拍在游戏机上，我们看到都lari kuat kuat, 以超音速的飞跑蹦跳的逃离现场，好险啊。。

现在就不同了，电子游戏店都转变成网吧或在家上网了，顾客都玩上网游戏，唆了卡，直接付款，就可online 玩，网后方的对方是谁，没人懂，没得管，很多诈骗就在这里发生，一步一步的掏空debit 卡的存款，若是信用卡，那就更惨。。

电子游戏如何的好玩，都是设计师的点子，顾客就是在设计师创造的虚拟世界中，顾客感觉得到放松，减压，提高了顾客身体的多巴胺，让顾客很happy, 忘我尽情的一步一步若陷入泥潭，不能自拔。。

在此劝劝电子游戏喜爱者，玩着玩着，适可而止，别沉迷到忘食不眠，荒废学业，要会辨别真假，虚拟和真实，那些才是对你真正有意义的事。。

I used to be addicted to video games. When I was hooked, I'd ride my bike straight to the arcade after school. Often, my grandfather would have to come with a rattan cane to chase me home. Once, we even encountered a policeman. He sat in front of a game machine, slapping his handcuffs on it. We all screamed and ran away at supersonic speed! What a close call!

Now it's different. Arcades have transformed into internet cafes or home internet. Customers play online games, pay with a card, and play online. Nobody knows who's the owner behind, nobody cares. Many scams happen here, gradually emptying debit card balances. If it's a credit card, it's even worse.

The fun of video games all comes from the designers' ideas. Customers feel relaxed and relieved in the virtual world created by these designers. It increases dopamine levels, making them happy and completely absorbed, sometimes to the point of being unable to extricate themselves.

Therefore, I advise video game enthusiasts to play in moderation. Don't become so addicted that you neglect your meals and studies. Learn to distinguish between reality and fiction; virtual and real are what truly matter to you.
