Venerable Jue Pei
My first encounter with Venerable Jue Pei was through two DVDs, “Xing Yun’s Legacy” and “Buddhism Relies on Me.” Venerable Jue Pei is a disciple of Venerable Master Hsing Yun.
The Venerable has cautioned that the number of Buddhists in the world is decreasing, which brings a sense of crisis. He believes that Buddhism has not been truly understood by people, nor has it been widely promoted, and that we have all not done enough.
Following Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s aspiration of “giving,” Venerable Jue Pei strongly advocates the power of giving and strives to contribute as much as possible to Buddhism.
This is a new book published in June 2025, “The Vast Grace of the Master – The Compassion and Vows of Venerable Master Hsing Yun.” Through Venerable Jue Pei’s detailed narration, readers can better understand Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s compassion of “not bearing to see sentient beings suffer” and his advocacy of Humanistic Buddhism.
On May 1, 2024, at the Dong Zen Temple reading group, I witnessed Venerable Jue Pei’s dedication to Humanistic Buddhism and the study of scriptures. Her pursuit of truth is remarkably strong and steadfast, making her an excellent mentor in the reading group.
Today, at the KLCC Book Fair, there was a talk by Venerable Jue Pei along with a book signing session. Due to work commitments, I am unable to attend. I would like to take this opportunity to help promote it—please support this wonderful book!
